How do you succeed in multi-level marketing? With 90% of people who join an mlm quiting really before they start, how can someone expect success?

Most people look at network marketing with a look of horror and instantly start looking for the nearest exit. It makes it kind of hard to want to discuss your business, huh?

is really no different than running any other business. It requires an investment of money and an investment of time. Like any business, there is marketing, there is accounting, there is sales. Be sure you get help where you need it.

After looking at and even joining opportunities and starting other businesses, I found that there is a WHOLE lot more to succeeding in business and network marketing than anyone in network marketing is willing to tell you!

The 5 Simple Tips for Network Marketing Success:

1. If you chase 2 rabbits, you’re not going to catch any, therefore, the 1st step to succeeding in is FOCUS. Without a very specific focus, it’s going to be incredibly difficult to be good at anything. My primary business is Team Beachbody. I FOCUS on this because I’ve been an avid health enthusiast for years, I’ve been focusing on the fitness industry since I started my blog in Jan of 2009 BodySculptBlog.com, I’m a client of the products for over 8 years now, and I love to share health and fitness information. For me, it’s a natural business focus. With that, I can FOCUS on how to market my business so it runs on autopilot online while freeing me up to share with people offline.

2. Working your business Consistently is important. CONSISTENCY in all you do will build a pipeline so your list of potential buyers and sales people never goes dry! You’ve got to consistently market. Consistently write content. Consistently let people know about your business. Consistently learn more on being successful. If you have a full time job in addition to getting your Network Marketing business running, then Consistently plug into your business – 2 hours a week, 6 hours a week, whatever it is, be consistent.

3. If you joined your Mlm business under someone who knows little about business, Network Marketing , and/or both, AND you’re relying on that person as your road to success, Stop. LEARN FROM THE SUCCESSFUL. Find out, who are the leaders in your company (Look at the leader board/top producers list)? Find out, who are the leaders in the Network Marketing industry (ie: Todd Falcone, David Wood, Cedric Harris, Ray Higdon, and more!)? Find out, who who the leaders are in running businesses (Dale Carnegie, Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, and more!) and FOLLOW WHAT THEY’VE DONE!! Many people in your business may not tell you the online marketing systems they have in place, ASK THEM! Ask them what their typical business day consists of. Ask them how many leads and how many sales PER DAY they are getting. ASK HOW they are getting those leads then follow that system. YES, you will likely implement more than one marketing strategy. But remember step 1, FOCUS. Focus on one strategy first. Get it running. THEN add another. Read, read, read, read! Subscribe to online newsletters, find these ‘mentors’ on Facebook, read their blogs, and above all, choose something each day you can FOCUS on to IMPLEMENT!

4. Ever noticed that when you walk with your head down, you’re likely to bump into things, get hurt, or get off track? Maybe even all those things? The 4th step to succeeding in the multi-level marketing industry is to KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! If you’re not looking at where you’re going, how will you know if you’re on the right track? If your chin’s not up, then how can you have the belief you’ll succeed? If you’re head’s not up, then how can you get yourself onto the right path?

5. PLUG-IN! No matter what business you’re in, it’s a must to get plugged-in! You’ve got to know what’s happening, now! Your Network Marketing business most likely has multiple webinars and/or conference calls. You’ve GOT to Consistently get plugged into these calls. If your businesses are like mine, if I miss a call, I can easily log into my back office to replay (and replay and replay) it whenever and as often as I want! (Even if I was on the call, I still replay the calls) Does your team have weekly calls? If so, get on them! If it doesn’t, start them! Get in touch with your upline and work with them to get the word out to start a weekly call! Then use this information to post to your website – content, content, content and the ideas + information is free, every week! I also read the newsletters from my back office and use those to get content and get ideas.
